The unaccepted silence ..

Posted on Updated on

She wandered past the streets clutching her year old toddler basking repeatedly in the sun..The piercing sunlight curtained the eyes with wrinkled skin adding up the pain..

With a cursor look on every passer by she throbbed to the direction where she felt people groping her pain.Stirring the empty bottle continuously she urged people for money that would add up to her kid’s hungry stomach that starved for food..His painful cry reverberated in her mother’s mind and she paced faster to fill his the baby’s crave..

The urge to fulfill his needs strolled her all across the streets among the sprawling metropolis.Where people murmured agony pointing her and snaking hands through their cars lend some money..

Contrary to the previous one a huge lot drove aimlessly least bothered to even lend a glance..

This occupation is gaining popularity in many countries. But our society if feels this occupation to be a wrong one we should ponder over the matter and come up with a solution.Because either of our response to lend them money and of ignoring them stands no justice. In some or the other way we are promoting beggary which should now be ceased.

Very well written but how sad ..such a worthy piece of writing upon a harsh n thorny reality of our society………though its a very routine sight n at times these ppl seems like the other objects we come across , when we hit the road………….but the way u express……fills my heart with such a sadness that tears roll down on my cheeks n i pray from God………….what kinda justice is it! and what should be our role in diminishing this practice! May Allah empower us to strengthen these people so they also feel like HUMANS……….(ameen)

      yes.. Farah..
these are the harsh realities of our life.. we need to write more and more about it to arouse concern over these people too..
even they have right to live and eat properly..
we need to follow our Prophet Muhammad’s(PBUH) foot steps then only we’ll be able to give them their proper rights..
jazakALLAH for commenting and showing this much concern.
      stay blessed 🙂

Every time I see this image , my heart breaks. I’ve seen so many of this in the Philippines. I wish I have millions so I can find them a job so they no longer have to beg and that they can regain their self respect and worth. Poverty, corruption and a government that is indifferent to the cry of it’s people is just so sad. I wish there is a way to change it. A child deserves to be loved and to grow in a place where he/she is safe and nourished and not begging with their parents. Thanks for sharing…

and it is so heartening to know that people like you exist who are willing to do geed to them
keep up the great thought. 🙂

    really true story.
We can see poor people anywhere in the world.
    맞는 얘기네요.
전 세계 어디서든 가난한 자는 있기 마련이죠.

Agree. It would be great if beggary was history but the pragmatist in me stirs otherwise.

This post reminded me of an old post on begging that I penned years ago (the theme was humour).

Unsavoury happenings surround us, living is filled with things that we would dearly love to change. But the process is gradual and some changes will, unfortunately, never occur. As an anonymous onlooker, I prefer seeing the lighter side to these things (which is also the implict theme in my writings)

      yes.
at times we cant help things ..
which is an unfortunate part 😦
